4 beef steaks
50 g of butter for cooking for Steaks
500 g ripe tomato
0.5 dl of water
Temper the steaks with a pinch of salt and spread them with butter for cooking for Steaks. Cut the onions into thin slices and sauté them in butter for cooking for Steaks.
Turn the steaks back and let them sweat a little more until they lose their reddish hue. Temper with salt and add the carrot, cut into thin slices, and the tomato, peeled and without seeds, previously crushed.
Let it stew a little and then pour it over the water and cook with the pan covered, always on a very low heat until the meat is tender. Rectify the salt and pepper and, if the tomato is too acidic, add a pinch of sugar. Let it cook for another 15 minutes.
